Rolling Prairie District Walk Kansas
Walk Kansas is a K-State Extension health initiative that promotes personal health and well-being by helping participants adopt healthful lifestyle habits. While primarily a team-based program, you can also go solo. Walk Kansas will help you:
- Be more active with support from friends and family
- Make healthier nutrition and beverage choices
- Learn helpful techniques to reduce stress, sleep well, and improve overall well-being

- Click "Register Here" - It is recommended that team captains register everyone on their team. Team members will then receive emails prompting then to complete their individual registrations. Fill in your information and then click "Next"
- Select your county/district - Rolling Prairie District
- Choose your program *options listed below* Once you select your program, be sure to select if you are participating on a team or going solo as an individual. Then click "Next"
- Build your team: Enter your team name. Add your team members- you will need their name and email. Each participant must have their own email. Click "Add Team Member" to add each new person. Teams can be of any size, but are recommended groups of 4-6 based on the current program options.
- Check Out: Checks must be made to Rolling Prairie Extension District and either be brought into the either office or mailed. PLEASE REACH OUT TO ONE OF THE OFFICES BEFORE CHECKING OUT IF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING APPLY - Snap clients, youth participants under the age of 18 (4-H groups, school groups, library groups, family members, etc), business' that are wanting to enroll employees, nursing home teams etc. We have discount codes that can be applied before completing the check out process.
***Walk Kansas has an updated website this year. All communications for this year will be on the website and through email only. The mobile app and texting service are not available for this season. You will be able to order Walk Kansas apparel through the main website when registration opens***

435 miles - Each person=2.5 hrs/week - Follow US Route 56 -
640 miles - Each person=3.3 hrs/week - Cross Country -
764 miles - Each person=4 hrs/week - Little Balkans to Nicodemus -
1200 miles - Each person=6 hrs/week
